Data sharing policy

This page is the short, plain-English version of who we share your information with, and why. The full legal detail lives in our privacy policy.

Who sees what

Buyers and visitors

If you send an enquiry through a listing page, the listing agent receives:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (only if you included it)
  • Your message
  • The listing you enquired about

They reply directly to your email. We don't sit in the middle of that conversation.

If you save a search or sign up for property alerts, only we see your email and filters — they are not shared with agents.

Agents

If you have an agent account with us, we share the following with our infrastructure providers in order to run the platform:

Provider What we share Why
Stripe (payments) Your name, email, billing address, payment method To process your monthly subscription
Amazon Web Services (Sydney region) Everything stored on the platform — database, files, transactional email This is where the site itself runs
Mapbox Map tile requests — no personal information To render the maps on listing and search pages

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with third-party marketers or data brokers.

When we have to share

We may disclose information to authorities or third parties where:

  • A court order, subpoena, or government regulation requires it
  • We need to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or a security incident
  • It is necessary to protect the safety of a person or the public

If this happens we will, where lawful, try to notify you first.

Cross-border transfers

All personal information is stored and processed in Australia (AWS Sydney region) by default. Stripe processes payment information on its own infrastructure — see stripe.com/au/privacy for their cross-border arrangements.

Your control

You can:

  • See what we hold about you — email privacy@marsdenparkhomes.com.au
  • Correct it
  • Delete it (subject to records we must keep by law — invoices for 7 years, for example)
  • Unsubscribe from any property alerts by clicking the link in any alert email
